Alright, my Boys In Blue!
Both Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez returned to the the lineup last night to help the Dodgers break their 4 game losing streak. Kemp went 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Ramirez got on base 4 times(3 walks) and Juan Uribe and Adrian Gonzalez hit two-run homers at Chase Field. With Zack Grienke on the mound, he only allowed 2 runs in 6 innings and is 15-3 overall with a 2.75 ERA.
Matt Kemp has been out of the starting lineup since July 21st and based on his performance last night, he hasn't missed a beat. Hanley Ramirez has missed the last week of games but as Don Mattingly said last night, "Hanley's timing is ridiculous. He hasn't played in 6 days and he's right on it."
Stephen Fife(4-3, 2.47 ERA) is on the mound tonight which should clinch us the first playoff spot in October. Honestly, the Dodgers haven't looked this good in quite some time. I can't wait for the playoffs!
