Ryu's Solid Pitching and the Puig/Kemp Combo Win in SF

It should be no surprise that Hyun-Jin Ryu will be in the postseason rotation with performances continuing like last nights. Don Mattingly seems to have strong confidence about Ryu. He said in his postgame interview, "I've always been comfortable with Hyun-Jin. There's no question mark. Most every outing has been pretty much quality. He bends, he doesn't break. You couldn't ask anything more."

Hyun-Jin Ryu(14-7, 2.97 ERA) allowed only 1 hit in 7 innings, striking out 6 batters, including the seemingly hot bat of Hunter Pence. Hyun-Jin Ryu's Great Start

Yasiel Puig homered in the 5th to put the Dodgers up 1-0 after getting hit by a pitch in the 3rd. As Vin Scully announced, 'he answered the way the good ones do, he crushes the ball and hits it out.' Puig's Deep Homer at AT&T

Although Tony Abreu hit a homer in the bottom of the 5th, it would be Matt Kemp who would break up the tie in the top of the 6th. Matt Kemp's Solo Homer To Break The Tie

Brian Wilson came into the 8th for the Dodgers and was met with "mixed reactions". Wilson would strikeout 2, retiring 3 in a row in the 8th.

Kenley Jansen would come in for the 9th inning and conclude the save with the strikeout of Pablo Sandoval. Kenley Jansen's 28th Save

Personally, I saw a lot of Dodger Blue out there last night. It was beautiful. There are fans of baseball and then there are True Blue Dodger fans and it's a beautiful thing.
