Dodgers Shut Out The Cardinals In Their Game 3 Victory

And now we have a series!

Hyun-Jin Ryu would toss a gem last night in the Dodgers shutout victory in Game 3 of the NLCS against the St. Louis Cardinals.

What more can I say about the Dodgers? They can do it when it counts. They needed this push, this momentum. So what that the Cards are mad about A-Gone's so-called "Mickey Mouse antics" or Puig's celebration and bat flip. This is the postseason, people. I realize that there is a certain amount of respect that needs to be given to the game. But, is it wrong to celebrate? The NFL does it in the end zone. The NBA does it after a monster dunk. The NHL does it on a last second goal. Why is baseball the only sport where its considered 'bad form' to celebrate victories in-game? These guys have much to be proud of. They have been counted out by opposing fans, endured criticism by the media and been hampered by injuries. The odds are completely against them right now and they still get criticised for being emotional in an emotional series.

They mean no disrespect. But I think somewhere along the way, we have become too serious about our sports. I understand respecting the sport, but it's still a game. It's entertainment. It's supposed to be fun. Fans go to games to have fun. Everyone, just remember to have fun.
