Ports Pitching Shines Again in Second Win Against Bakersfield

Tanner Peters took the mound last night against the Bakersfield Blaze, retiring 12, allowing only 2 hits in 7.1 innings pitched and got the win, 4-3. Peters is racking up the stats and it won't be long before we see him move up.

Michael Ynoa was activated from the DL and pitched in the 9th inning and recorded his first save of his season in Stockton.

The Ports will try for the 3-game sweep of Bakersfield tonight as Ryan Doolittle(0-1, 2.70ERA) starts for Stockton. Many Stockton fans are expecting big things from this young man. If his name sounds familiar, it should. His big brother is Sean Doolittle of the Oakland Athletics. Sean put up big numbers in Stockton in the 2012 season so I'm sure Ryan may feel some pressure to do the same.
