The Boys of Banner Island will be heading to Lake Elsinore, CA for a a 3-game series with the Lake Elsinore Storm, the Class-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. I had to look up where Lake Elsinore because, although I've heard of the place, I've never been there or knew where exactly it was on the map. It's about 45 miles southeast of Anaheim, CA(I know where Disneyland is).
This Friday, they will come back north for a 3-game series with the Visalia Rawhide, the Class-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. After a day off on Monday, the 19th, the Ports will start their last two home game series of the regular season. First, a 3-game series with the San Jose Giants and then a 4-game series again with the Visalia Rawhide.
The Ports are in third place in the overall California League North standings.

While the Ports are in 3rd place overall, if Modesto wins the 2nd half, the Ports need to have a better record than the Rawhide to make the playoffs. Let's Go Ports!!!
