The Oakland Athletics and the Stockton Ports have jointly decided to extend their Player Development Contract (PDC) through to the 2016 season. They had previously had a two year agreement through the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
This is especially good news to the fans in the Stockton area, being so close to the bay area and being able to see former Ports in the Big Leagues as well as current A's players in rehab assignments playing in Banner Island.
