The Dodgers shutout the Rays

With Zack Greinke on the mound last night, the Dodgers felt the rhythm in the early to mid innings. Greinke had 6 1/3 scoreless innings, for a 10th win for him, as Los Angeles beat Tampa Bay, 5-0, at Dodger Stadium.

Nick Punto and Adrian Gonzalez both had a pair of hits and 2 RBI's with one of those from Gonzalez his 16th home run of the season. Skip Schumaker was 4-4 and Yasiel Puig took 2 walks and struck out once.

Since the All-Star Break, the Dodgers have won 19 out of 22 games and are ahead of the Arizona Diamondbacks 6.5 games in the NL West.

As a "true blue" Dodger fan, I believe this has been a long time coming. The Dodgers are due, regardless of what many other fans of the game(specifically those from SF) say regarding the expenditures and trades done this season. Brandon Belt, of the San Francisco Giants, was quoted in February stating, "All I can say is, You can't buy chemistry." Well, in this case, maybe you can. And that's ok with me. Maybe the Giants could consider that for next year.
